These seemingly random digits are, in fact, the exclusive codes of a city. 

It's a comprehensive new city that integrates industry and urban living, providing a pleasant environment for both work and residence. 

225 square kilometers in scope

The Beijing municipal government officially approved the planning of E-Town New Area on Nov 20, 2019. 

The Beijing E-Town Administrative Committee unified the planning and development of E-Town New Area, covering 225 square kilometers. This new place is planned to be an internationally recognized ecological and technological hub with vibrant urban energy.

4+2+1 industrial structure

Beijing E-Town has four dominant industries, including the next-generation information technology, high-end automobiles and intelligent new energy vehicles, biotechnology and big health, and robotics and intelligent manufacturing. 

Additionally, it features high-end service industries, technological and cultural integration industries, as well as the digital economy industry. 

To further support these dominant industries, four specialized teams have been established for integrated circuits, biotechnology and healthcare, next-generation information technology, and automobiles and intelligent manufacturing, along with the Beijing Autonomous Driving Demonstration Zone Office.

2249 authorized patents for 'small giant' enterprises

Beijing E-Town has continuously maintained the leading position in the number of nationally recognized and specialized "small giant" enterprises among national-level economic-technological development areas. 

As of the first quarter of 2023, these "small giant" enterprises have obtained a total of 2,249 authorized invention patents.

65 postdoctoral workstations

This year, eight postdoctoral stations have been approved in Beijing E-Town. 

Currently, there are 65 postdoctoral workstations in operation, promoting positive interactions between enterprises, universities, and research institutions, leading to fruitful achievements in technological innovation and talent development.

349,200 talents

Beijing E-Town has a total talent pool of 349,200 people, surpassing the citywide average contribution rate by 7.35 percentage points. 

High-level talents selected for national and municipal jobs make up a significant proportion in the area, and key indicators such as the number of patents per capita are leading the city.

80,000 enterprises

Beijing E-Town has attracted over 80,000 enterprises from more than 40 countries and regions around the world, with the total industrial output value exceeding 538.5 billion yuan.

2,456 regional GDP

In 2022, the regional GDP of Beijing E-Town reached 2,456 billion yuan ($343.50 billion), with a per capita GDP of 847,000 yuan, which is 4.5 times the citywide average.
