In just one month, the rice seedlings planted in the shimmering water fields have grown into a captivating Nanhaizi rice paddy painting, swaying in the wind and rain.

As a vivid portrayal of E-Town New Area's reclamation efforts, the rice field art paints a unique artistic backdrop for E-Town.

Doraemon serves as a landmark, while Kumamon and Kumanikki act as gatekeepers, as colorful windmills playfully spin in the fields. 

Located across from the south gate of Xunfeng Garden in the Nanhaizi Park, the Nanhaizi rice paddy art has now shed its greenness from a month ago and stands prominently before visitors.

Once you ascend the viewing platform, you can see two rice paddy paintings, "Welcome to Yinhai" and "Beautiful Nanhaizi, Galloping Elk," which unfurl gently in the autumn breeze.

The two rice paddy paintings cover a total area of 50 mu (3.33 hectares), roughly one-tenth of the farming area. 

The staff used regular rice as the canvas, using large areas of purple rice for drawings, forming words or patterns, with white rice serving as eye-catching accents.

"Near the rice paddy art, we've also set aside about 1 mu of rice fields for crab, crayfish, and rice fish farming," said Bai Haobin, head of Beijing Nanhai Lvxin Ecological Technology Development Co. The South Sea rice field art not only offers visual appeal but also interactive and educational experience. 

To enrich visitors' experiences, activities such as fishing, crabbing, shrimp fishing, and rice harvesting will be gradually developed, enabling integration of agriculture, art, and tourism.
