After shining brightly during the 2023 China International Fair for Trade in Services, the No. 10 Galaxy Experience Center at Shougang Park is once again in the spotlight, this time for the 2023 National Science Popularization Day.

On Sept 15, the awarding ceremony for the first batch of Science and Technology Education Experience Bases, known as the "City of Science and Technology Museums," was held as a crucial part of this year's main event for National Science Popularization Day.

The main event for National Science Popularization Day is taking place from Sept 16 to 24 and includes thematic exhibitions, technological experiences, science popularization performances, and more.

During this period, the Shang E-Town Group is primarily responsible for organizing and providing service support for the event.

Nearly 400 exhibition projects were collected from over a hundred companies nationwide and the exhibition content was weaved into five chapters: "Introduction: Charting a Glorious Course," "Part One: Confidence, Self-Reliance, and the Dream of a Strong Nation," "Part Two: Science and Technology Benefit People's Lives," "Part Three: Science Popularization Carnival," and "Part Four: Adding Up to Science Education."

The first day of the main event attracted visitors from various sectors of society. During their visit, they were moved by the innovation and self-confidence of technology workers who dare to be pioneers and marveled at how technological innovation has improved people's lives. 

Through engaging and fun scientific and technological cultural activities, they experienced the charm of "science popularization + culture" and understood the role of science and education resources in promoting scientific education for young people and nurturing innovative talents. 

"We have highlighted three characteristics of the overall exhibition using our technological advantages: digitalized science popularization, interactive scenarios, and storytelling in the exhibition. This makes the exhibition not only viewable but also interactive, experiential, and immersive," Wang mentioned.

The organic integration of science popularization resources and visual scenes creates an immersive exhibition atmosphere, while the storytelling approach embodies the scientific progression of "knowledge - experience - practice." 

"Because we have employed cutting-edge interactive technology in the digital realm, the 2023 National Science Popularization Day main event can offer an intelligent science popularization extravaganza that blends science popularization with digital technology," Wang said.
