Authorized by the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission and the Beijing Municipal Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs, the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area, or Beijing E-Town, will independently handle the examination and decision-making of work permits for foreigners coming to China to work in its area from Nov 1.

Any enterprise registered within the 225-square-kilometer area of Beijing E-Town can apply for a "Foreigner's Work Permit" for their foreign high-end talents (Category A), foreign professional talents (Category B), and other foreigners (Category C) within the area.

The online service platform for handling these matters is the Foreigner's Work Management Service System (fuwu.most.gov.cn).

The offline acceptance location is the two Permits service window at the International Talent Service Area, 1st floor, No. 4 Wanyuan Street, Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area.
