Commercial districts see 47.6 percent year-on-year sales increase

According to the Business and Finance Bureau of Beijing E-Town during the Spring Festival holiday total sales of various major commercial districts in the area exceeded 140 million yuan ($19.47 million), a year-on-year increase of 47.6 percent. The sales of core area commercial districts increased by 25.64 percent year-on-year, and the consumption market achieved a "good start".

On the first day of the lunar new year, Beijing BHG Mall E-Town Shopping Center staged a lively lion dance performance to celebrate the new year and bring good fortune. 

On the second day of the lunar new year, the Spring Festival "Wonderful" event at Longfor Paradise Walk attracted many consumers to stop by and take photos, while the evening's starlight art lighting exhibition embellished the city. 

Various activities full of festive atmosphere not only provide rich entertainment options for residents of the area but also continue to heat up the consumption market.

According to reports, during the Spring Festival, major shopping malls and supermarkets such as Dazhu Plaza and Wangfujing Ole UP TOWN held nearly 10 special events, attracting a total of 1.14 million people, a year-on-year increase of 34.32 percent.

In addition, the distribution of the third round of New Year consumer vouchers in Beijing E-Town has also become an important engine stimulating a new round of consumption enthusiasm. On the fourth day of the Lunar New Year, many residents holding consumer vouchers were seen selecting desired goods at the SevenFresh supermarket in Dazu Plaza.

To stimulate the vitality of the automobile consumption market, Beijing E-Town started distributing "Good Car, Good City" automobile consumption vouchers from Jan 1. Consumers can enjoy discounts on purchases from over 20 car companies in the area, with a maximum discount of up to 9000 yuan.

As the Spring Festival holiday comes to an end, Beijing E-Town is transitioning from a lively festive atmosphere to a bustling production rhythm.
