Beijing E-Town has welcomed another round of investments from foreign enterprises, with Sidel Group injecting an additional $106 million into its subsidiary, Sidel Machinery (Beijing) Co, or Sidel Beijing plant.

This investment aims to optimize daily operations and services, better meet customer needs, and further promote localization efforts. Li Yonghong, director of Sidel Beijing plant, stated, "With the injection of new funds, we have already begun to introduce new products and improve the equipment supply capacity of the Beijing factory to better serve Chinese customers."

For Sidel, this investment not only represents another vote of confidence in Beijing E-Town but also demonstrates its determination to deepen its presence in the Chinese market through the Beijing factory. 

As a global provider of packaging services and solutions for beverages, food, home, and personal care products, Sidel has been operating in E-Town since 2005 and initiated the construction of the Beijing factory in 2008. 

With support from E-Town's policies and services, the Beijing factory has become one of Sidel's largest production bases globally, capable of providing comprehensive solutions for local Chinese clients, from planning to installation and training.

The growth journey of the Sidel Beijing Factory, from its inception to its current success, has been driven by innovative technology, particularly the Aseptic Predis PET bottle sterilization technology. 

Leveraging this technology, the factory has continuously expanded its footprint in the Chinese aseptic packaging market. To date, the factory has delivered nearly 20 Predis PET bottle sterilization production lines to domestic clients, enhancing its market competitiveness.

With the influx of new orders, the factory faces higher demands for production efficiency. Hence, Sidel's additional investment will focus on upgrading equipment and services, as well as implementing energy-saving technologies to achieve higher efficiency levels. 

Li Yonghong attributes Sidel Beijing plant's steady growth to E-Town's open and efficient business environment, which provides supportive services to address companies' concerns during operations.
