Transformation and upgrade of Beijing E-Town's automotive industry
Beijing Yanfeng BAIC Automotive Interior Trims Co officially settled in the Xingyao Industrial Park in E-Town New Area.
"Xingyao Industrial Park was once the center for the production of automotive steering system components. Due to industrial transformation and upgrading, this industrial land urgently needed change," said Qin Yuangao, deputy general manager of Beijing E-Town Urban Renewal Co, at the inauguration ceremony.
Under the overall planning of the Beijing E-Town Administrative Committee and the guidance of the E-Town Development and Construction Bureau, the Urban Renewal Company launched the revitalization project.
The first phase continues to support the production of the northern division of Beijing Hainachuan Automotive Parts Co, while the second phase involves planning new construction on idle land, bringing in Yanfeng BAIC and providing them with customized factory buildings.

After multiple rounds of discussions, it took only eight months for the Urban Renewal Company to build a modern automotive parts factory tailored for Yanfeng BAIC.
The total construction area of the project reaches 23,000 square meters, integrating production workshops, warehouses and office spaces, providing Yanfeng BAIC with a comprehensive and complete working environment.
Moreover, the factory has introduced advanced energy, fire protection, and security systems, creating a higher quality and safer production environment for the enterprise.
In the future, this location will focus on the research, development, and production of interior products such as automotive door panels.
It will work in conjunction with Yanfeng BAIC's existing production lines, further promoting the development of high-end automotive and new energy intelligent vehicle industry clusters in Beijing E-Town.
Beijing E-Town will continue to drive the transformation and upgrading of the automotive industry, focusing on the directions of intelligence, connectivity, electrification, and lightweight construction, aiming to create an integrated development industrial ecosystem of "new energy vehicles -- intelligent transportation -- vehicle network services."
