On June 12, Zhang Qiang, secretary of the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area Party Working Committee, visited the construction sites of Beijing Rocket Street and the International Talent Community projects. 

He emphasized the importance of enhancing the driving capability of key projects and stimulating industrial agglomeration effects through extending, supplementing and strengthening industrial chains.

The Beijing Rocket Street construction project is located in Yinghai town and serves as a core node in Beijing E-Town's planned aerospace district. 

The project aims to establish the country's first commercial aerospace research and production base. 

At the site, Zhang was briefed on the project's planning and design, spatial resources and facilities, and incoming projects.

Beijing Zhonghang Tianyu Investment Management Co is the first domestic innovative general aviation investment company, with airport construction, operation and general aviation as its core businesses. 

It plans to create a light aircraft manufacturing base and five support centers in the aerospace district. At the temporary project office of the company, Zhang had discussions with company leaders to learn about the project's construction plans, future business layout and core team composition.

International Talent Community (Yijia·Qilinfu) Area A [Photo/beijingetown.com.cn]

The International Talent Community (Yijia·Qilinfu) Area A project is part of Beijing E-Town's initiative to build "Beijing's first international talent community with a scale of 1 million square meters." 

It includes 304 large-space expert apartments, which are expected to be delivered by the end of this year. Zhang inspected the progress of the project along the way and visited a model apartment to check the living conditions, facilities and service management.
