A new battery industry expert seminar was held at Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (Beijing E-Town) on July 26. Over 30 experts from universities, research institutes, industry chain enterprises and investment institutions gathered to have in-depth discussion on the prospects and development paths of the new battery industry.

Participants in the seminar visited the high-end automobile and new energy vehicle key components industrial park at the Beijing E-Town to learn about the latest developments in the industry. In the park, which has a total construction area of approximately 240,000 square meters, nearly 20 enterprises have settled, covering fields such as automobiles, new energy, robotics and aerospace.

Key bottlenecks were discussed during the event, including battery technology materials, new technologies and development trends, the security and stability of the battery supply chain, cost control and the recycling and reuse of power batteries. Many experts said that with the vigorous development of new energy vehicles, the new battery industry is facing challenges in technology and materials. They called for the joint establishment of a safe, reliable, efficient and low-cost supply chain.

As the host of the seminar, Beijing E-Town has a strong industrial foundation in the field of new batteries. In the future, more new battery industry projects are expected to settle in Beijing E-Town, further contributing to the new energy intelligent automobile industry chain.
