The 2024 World Robot Conference (WRC) kicked off at the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (Beijing E-Town) on Aug 21. Focusing on themes such as technological innovation, ecological environment, urban scenery and historical culture, Beijing E-Town promotes three thematic routes and creates two major interactive experiences to help visitors unlock more ways to experience the WRC.

These three recommended routes cover smart robots, industrial innovation and cultural tourismconsumption.

The smart robot route is based on the segmentation of the robot industry, combined with the industrial resources of robot intelligent manufacturing in the area, linking up scenarios such as robot research and development, manufacturing, production and applications.

The industrial innovation experience route gathers enterprise factories and exhibition resources in areas such as unmanned driving, intelligent manufacturing, new generation information technology, science and culture integration, biomedicine and health and future industries, forming a route with distinctive industrial resource characteristics.

The cultural tourism consumption experience route includes Beijing E-Town core business circle, important natural and cultural sites, various green open spaces, and popular check-in landmarks, where visitors can experience specialty foods made by robots and enjoy the fun of shopping along this route.

In terms of the two major interactive experiences, Beijing E-Town holds autonomous driving and exploring museums night events. Visitors can experience the autonomous vehicles and participate in themed activities such as aerospace and biodiversity.

Going forward, Beijing E-Town will further promote the Beijing E-Town WRC and cultural tourism IP, enhancing its influence as a "city of the future of technological innovation".
