Over 70 journalists from more than 50 domestic and foreign media outlets visited the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (Beijing E-Town) on Sept 3 to gain an in-depth understanding of the development and application scenarios of the robotics industry.

Beijing E-Town now has more than 100 ecological robotics enterprises, with over half of them specializing in cutting-edge technologies. The output value has reached nearly 10 billion yuan ($1.41 billion), accounting for 50 percent of Beijing's robotics industry. Enterprises such as UBTECH and Longwood Valley MedTech, and like the Robot World Exhibition Hall, the Beijing Embodied AI Robotics Innovation Center and the National Robot Testing and Evaluation Center (Headquarters) Beijing Evaluation Center, serve as a window for the outside world to understand the development of the robotics industry in Beijing E-Town.

At the Robot World Exhibition Hall, journalists interacted with various humanoid robots. Witnessing robots already involved in automobile assembly and parts production, assisting in high-precision surgeries, and even customizing catering according to individual tastes, the reporters were impressed by the sci-tech development in the robotics industry of Beijing E-Town.

"Visiting the Beijing Robotics Industry Park feels like a glimpse into the future merging with reality. I hope that through my reporting, African audiences can gain a deeper understanding of Beijing's development," the journalist from RTC said.Another reporter added, "I have been to many cities, but I still believe that China's robotics industry holds a significant advantage globally. I hope to have the opportunity for future collaboration, enabling industrial robotic arms, automated production lines, and robotic assistance in healthcare to enter my country, promoting economic development."
