Updated: 2024-10-24

A Japanese friendship delegation from the four prefectures of Niigata, Fukushima, Miyagi, and Yamagata visited the Beijing Technological-Development Area (Beijing E-Town) on Oct 20.

The delegation visited BJEV and LLVISION, where they experienced firsthand the technological innovation achievements of Beijing E-Town.

At BJEV, staff guided the guests to visit the car showroom, providing a detailed introduction to the vehicles' parameters, safety features, interior design, and product performance of new energy models. The visitors praised the personalized design features of the vehicles, with some of them expressing intentions to purchase. They also engaged in in-depth discussions with the staff regarding issues like vehicle materials, range, and charging voltage.

BJEV is the first enterprise in China to obtain qualifications for new energy vehicle production and be listed on the A-share market. It holds industry-leading testing capabilities in six major areas: batteries, motors, electronic control, intelligent connected systems, lightweight design, and vehicle applications. The company has led the development of over 100 technical standards in the Chinese electric vehicle industry. Its leading position in the safety performance of electric vehicles is attributed to its early advantages and long-term accumulation in the field of pure electric vehicles.

At LLVISION, staff used the company's products to translate real-time Chinese introductions into Japanese and display them on screens, enabling barrier-free communication with the visitors.

As a leading next-generation global AR+AI platform, LLVISION possesses core AI technologies such as AR optics, computer vision, knowledge graphs, and spatial fusion interaction. It has developed a full chain of AR tool services from research to commercialization, including self-developed products like AR glasses, serving over 5,000 global corporate users across more than 100 countries and regions in industries such as industrial manufacturing, energy and chemicals, aerospace, law enforcement and security, border customs, and automotive transportation.

"With these glasses, language barriers will be easily overcome," said the president of the Fukushima Japan-China Cultural Exchange Association, after trying on the LEION HEY subtitle glasses. "I visited Beijing in 1991, and China's development has been rapid. The various advanced technologies have left me impressed."

The delegation consists of friendly individuals from the four prefectures in Japan, and they have long been dedicated to promoting Sino-Japanese friendly exchanges and cooperation. This visit not only provided them with a window to deepen their understanding of the technological innovation practices and achievements in Beijing E-Town, but also enable them to further advance friendly exchanges and cooperation between the four prefectures and China in various fields through what they have seen and heard.
