Beijing E-Town enterprises meet with 48 Group Club
The 48 Group Club from the United Kingdom and 23 local enterprises based in the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (Beijing E-Town) held a seminar on international financing and overseas expansion on Monday.
The 48 Group Club, established in 1954, has played a significant role in the history of Sino-British trade. The non-governmental organization is dedicated to promoting trade relations and non-governmental trade exchanges between China and the UK. It works in the fields of business, culture and academia and currently has more than 600 members.
At the seminar, Stephen Perry, the chairman of the 48 Group Club, gave a detailed introduction of his team, overseas investments and acquisitions, and international trade. Beijing E-Town also presented the support measures for international financing and overseas expansion for enterprises.
"Since the beginning of this year, Beijing E-Town has collaborated with the UK's 48 Group Club on multiple occasions. Not long ago, the two sides jointly organized a Sino-British biopharmaceutical exchange and seminar," said a member of staff from Beijing E-Town. "In the future, Beijing E-Town and the 48 Group Club will further assist enterprises in connecting with international resources, developing international business, establishing international financing channels, and deepening international economic and trade cooperation.”
