The Elk Garden in Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (Beijing E-Town) was recently selected as one of the first group of the "Bird Watching Bases" in Beijing for its unique ecological charm.

This autumn, the Elk Garden conducted a survey on autumn bird species and discovered and recorded 77 species from 34 families of birds.

Accurate tallying of birds' presence relies upon the assistance of artificial intelligence monitoring. The use of a computer deep learning bird identification system based on "artificial neural networks" has brought new breakthroughs to bird monitoring.

Unlike traditional manual biodiversity surveys, artificial intelligence monitoring can operate around the clock, greatly improving monitoring efficiency. Regardless of whether it is day or night, sunny or rainy weather, it can accurately identify and record the species and quantity of birds.

This innovative technology complements traditional surveys perfectly, providing more comprehensive and accurate data for a deeper understanding of the bird ecology in the Elk Garden.
