The 7th China International Import Expo (CIIE) will be held in Shanghai from Nov 5 to 10, 2024. Multiple innovative products from the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (Beijing E-Town) will debut at the expo.

Over 10 companies based in Beijing E-Town, such as ABB, Schneider Electric, GE Healthcare, Bayer, and Shiseido, will showcase their new technologies and products, covering areas such as technical equipment, medical devices and healthcare, automotive, and consumer goods.

Among them, GE Healthcare will bring more than 30 boundary-breaking innovations that focus on the integrated diagnosis and treatment of serious illnesses, grassroots care, and smart healthcare. Of the total, 17 products will make their debut at the CIIE, including 7 global premieres and 10 cutting-edge products making their first appearance in China, marking the highest number of new products to be introduced by GE Healthcare at the expo. ABB's electrical exhibition area will showcase its innovative solutions in clean energy utilization, energy efficiency optimization, and improvement of electrification rate. Additionally, modern miniature circuit breakers (MCBs) produced at ABB’s Beijing E-Town factory will also be showcased on-site, marking a milestone in the product's century-long development.

In addition, Beijing E-Town, representing a national-level economic and technological development zone, will showcase its vibrant experiences in planning and constructing future industries and nurturing the growth of emerging industries. The humanoid robot "Tiangong" will make its appearance at the exhibition. It has achieved the world's first full-size electric-driven humanoid robot capable of human-like running, with globally leading whole-body coordinated control and generalized mobile capabilities.

Meanwhile, during the 7th CIIE, Beijing E-Town will hold a promotion event featuring a series of "4+1" activities on Nov 6. Together with business matching and research trips in Shanghai and its surrounding areas, Beijing E-Town will extend invitations to more enterprises, aiming to attract high-quality domestic and international resources to establish themselves in the area.
