Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (Beijing E-Town) hosted the 2025 cultural, commercial, tourism and sports release event on Jan 24.

The event was jointly presented by the robots Tiangong, Tianyi, Xiaoqi, and the on-site host, announcing a series of upcoming themed activities in 2025, including charming E-Town, intelligent E-Town, brand E-Town, joyful E-Town, and fashion E-Town.

At the event, the robot Xiaoqi presented the remarkable achievements of promoting biodiversity in Beijing E-Town over the years. Up to now, a total of 198 species of insects, 321 species of birds, and 566 species of vascular plants have been discovered within the area.

In 2025, E-Town will continue to make green ecology and technological innovation the crucial plan of urban development. With organizing robot flash mob events and other technological cultural activities, Boda Park in –Town is expected to become the first robot-themed urban park nationwide.

Meanwhile, the top ten industrial science and technology tourism demonstration scenes and three routes in Beijing E-Town have been unveiled. During the Spring Festival, scenes such as Robot World, Kongtian Castle, and Xiaomi Car Factory will be opened, inviting locals and tourists to experience a different "technological year". Besides, over 500 cultural activities ahead this year are also waiting for people to participate.

Leveraging the local industrial advantages, E-Town will also construct a series of distinctive, themed, and service-oriented sports facilities this year. Additionally, it will launch the world's first humanoid robot half marathon, as well as sports events like the Nanhaizi Park half marathon, providing a year full of excitement and anticipation for sports enthusiasts.

A series of tech-culture integrated events, such as e-sports competitions, world super car challenge, autonomous driving minibus experience and E-Town AI contest, are also expected to offer people a marvelous experience of innovation.

In 2025, Beijing E-Town will continue to promote the integrated development of culture, commerce, tourism, and sports, as well as strengthen its brand building and city cultural value to become an international first-class high-end industrial comprehensive area.
