Mallards on Qingshui Lake
A group of mallards have arrived at the Qingshui Lake in the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (Beijing E-Town) in time for spring.
The mallards sometimes skimmed across the crystal-clear ice, creating splashes like scattered pieces of jade; sometimes soared high with their emerald green wings shining brightly in the sunlight. Their appearance has added a touch of warmth and poetic ecological scenery to this new city filled with a technological atmosphere.
