In 2024, 11,343 new enterprises opened in Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (Beijing E-Town), a 28.6 percent year-on-year increase and marking the first time the area drew more than 10,000 new businesses within a year.

The Entrepreneurship Services Zone in E-Town provides not only in-depth consultations, one-on-one guidance and customized assistance for initial startup matters -- such as free office space handling and one-stop registration -- but also offers value-added services tailored to businesses´ specific needs, including guidance on entrepreneurship and opening, tax-related declarations and registration for corporate social insurance.

In 2023, Beijing E-Town introduced the "Nine Policies for Foreign Investment". Subsequently, an upgraded version of the "Nine Policies" was released, continuously improving policy support system for foreign enterprises.

Beijing E-Town focuses on optimizing the business environment for foreign investment by enhancing services throughout business' lifecycle, promoting industrial openness and innovating institutional mechanisms. These efforts aim to support foreign enterprises in establishing a stronger presence in the area.

Beijing E-Town has also been energetically promoting the optimization of foreign-related services.
