2017 WIOTC Beijing Summit opens
Themed around IoT economy innovation, the 2017 World Internet of Things Convention (WIOTC) Beijing Summit opened in China National Convention Center on Oct 19.
Including activities of keynote speeches, itinerant exhibitions, high-end forums and a road show, the summit aims to boost the further development of IoT industry.
During the summit, He Xuming, executive chairman of the convention, delivered a keynote speech, pointing out that IoT technology has been widely used in China and the county has been at the forefront of the world in establishing its industrial standards.
"Billions of objects are expected to be accessed to the IoT by 2025 with the market value of over 30 trillion dollars", He added.
According to the summit sponsor, the event has attracted over 500 industrial representatives from various countries including the US, Germany, New Zealand and Japan.
