Zhongguancun Rail Transit industry Alliance exhibited at 2017 Modern Rail, Asia's leading rail industry event, at Shanghai Exhibition Center on Oct 26.

More than 200 companies including China Railway, China Railway Rolling Corporation (CRRC) and Siemens took out booths and the event, which has been running since 1992.

The alliance used the event to showcase its overall capacity in rail transit solutions covering design consulting, construction and operations.

It also offered a good chance to provide a better platform for the alliance's 12 member units, including China High-Speed Railway Technology Co (CHSR), Jiaxun Feihong Electrical Co and Beijing Jiaotong University, to demonstrate their own capabilities.

Zhongguancun Rail Transit Industry Alliance was set up in Beijing on Aug 18. It aims to support the development of the rail transit industry and build a new creative service platform covering technology, market and capital in the rail transit space. More than 40 companies have already joined the alliance, including 11 listed companies.
