The 2017 Enterprise Innovation Summit was held in Zhongguancun Innovation Center of Baoding, Hebei province on Oct 27. The summit aims to discuss the industry development and enterprise innovation of Xiongan New Area in the following years.

Nearly 400 guests from relevant government departments of Baoding and well-known enterprises and scientific research institutions in Beijing and Hebei attended the summit. They held in-depth discussions on industry transformation and upgrading and the ideas, methods and measures of enterprise innovation of Xiongan New Area.

At the beginning of the summit, leaders of Zhongguancun Software Park in Beijing and Baoding made speeches.

Guo Jianying, the mayor of Baoding, fully affirmed the important role of Zhongguancun in the innovation and development of Baoding.

Guo said that Zhongguancun plays a leading role in Baoding's development. He hopes that this sort of innovative cooperation between Zhongguancun and Baoding will deepen in the future and speed up the transformation of scientific and technological achievements and promote regional cooperation and achieve win-win results.

Liu Kefeng, the chairman of Zhongguancun Software Park in Beijing, said that the Zhongguancun Innovation Center in Baoding is the pioneering project of Zhongguancun's regional collaborative innovation.

"After more than two years of operational practice, it has made gratifying progress and initially built a kind of ecological system of Zhongguancun",Liu said.

On the summit, six key projects have signed a cooperation agreement including "financial science and technology service industrial park", "Baoding software and information service trading center", "mobile intellectual Internet Industrial Park", "smart energy industry base", "Baoding intelligent manufacturing Industrial Research Institute" and "Intelligent Security Science and Technology Park".

Chen Hongning, deputy director of Hebei Provincial Intellectual Property Office, and Shi Qilin, general manager of Beijing Zhongguancun Information Valley Asset Management Co jointly unveiled the nameplate for the"Assistance Station for Intellectual Property Rights Protection in Hebei Province (Baoding Zhongguancun)".

This workstation is co-founded by the Hebei Provincial Intellectual Property Office and Zhongguancun Innovation Center in Baoding. It aims to provide intellectual property related services to Zhongguancun Innovation Center and enterprises in Baoding.

The workstation will become a vital platform for the protection of scientific and technological rights and interests of science and technology enterprises. This is also an important measure for Zhongguancun Innovation Center in Baoding to improve its platform functions and serve science and technology enterprises.
