PNP talks about smart future in Zhongguancun

The world's largest startup accelerator Plug and Play (PNP) Tech Center welcomed some 16 worldwide outstanding startups to a Smart-Future Cross Border Summit in Zhongguancun Inno Way, the site of PNP'S headquarters, on Nov 9.

The overseas companies were from China, the United States, Canada, Belgium, Singapore and South Korea.

The cross border summit, covering various fields of mobile travelling, smart cities, smart hardware, and brand marketing, will not only visit Zhongguancun but will also tour China to provide insights for entrepreneurs on achieving a global layout for an entrepreneurship eco-system.

Beijing is the first stop of the PNP cross border project and others will include Zhengzhou, Chengdu, Wuhan and Shenzhen.

Huang Ying, deputy director of Zhongguancun Science Park's Administrative Committee, welcomed participants with a presentation about the eco-environment of innovation and entrepreneurship in Haidian district and its local favorable policies. She encouraged startups to invest and develop in Haidian district to co-promote cross border innovation.

PNP organized a road show for one to one interactions, and a theme forum where startups outlined the innovation and entrepreneurship mode in China and strengthened their connections with worldwide incubation teams.

PNP opened its China headquarters in Zhongguancun Inno Way in Oct last year. Its mission is to provide professional services for global entrepreneurs and build an international entrepreneurship ecology.
