Zhongguancun, Tujia work on civil-military new energy industry
The Zhongguancun Civil-Military Integration Industrial Alliance and Shanghai Tujia Engineering Technology Co Ltd reached a strategic cooperation agreement on April 2.
The two sides will carry out in-depth exchanges and cooperation in military-civilian dual-use new energy products and services, and lay a solid foundation for the rapid, sustained, and all-round development of the new energy industry in the field of military-civilian integration.
Ji Huixian, general secretary of the Zhongguancun Civil-Military Integration Industrial Alliance, said that the two sides will join hands to research and develop new energy technologies and products for military-civilian integration.

Shanghai Tujia Engineering Technology, a leading domestic new energy automobile company, has R&D centers in Germany's Stuttgart, Italy's Turin, and Silicon Valley in the United States.
Wei Liaoyu, CEO of the company, said that it is preparing to lay out the entire new energy vehicle industry in five to 10 years and it has independent intellectual property rights for new energy core components.
The company is now seeking negotiations with several regions' governments to set up its vehicle factories.
