Zhongguancun Life Science Park held a roadshow for biomedicine projects on July 12, winning the confidence of many financial agencies and investment experts.

With a focus on anti-tumor research, telemedicine technology, medical equipment, new medicine and biological cosmetology, the activity attracted up to 100 renowned entrepreneurs and industry representatives from home and abroad.

"Life Science Park has been collecting various innovative elements and ancillary resources to transfer the emerging research achievements and boost the thriving biomedicine industry," said Bo Xuemei, deputy general manager of Beijing Zhongguancun Life Science Development Co, when addressing the roadshow.

She hopes the roadshow can create new visions for more in-depth cooperation between innovative projects and potential investors.

As a pillar industry of Changping district, the thriving biomedicine industry is gradually becoming a new engine of economic growth and a common target for global capitals, according to Wang Shugang, deputy director of the Beijing Changping Commission of Economy and Information.

"We will pull out all stops to build up an integrated fintech service system, which, in the long run, will safeguard the sustainable development of biomedicine enterprises in terms of investment, policies and talent," added Wang.

Other notable guests included Zhao Fuqiang, vice-president of Lotus Lake Capital. He described the roadshow as "the highest standard" of the biomedicine industry and "would definitely participate in more high-end activities like this".
