Zhongguancun develops new model for tech transfer
After 40 years of hard work and innovative development Zhongguancun has been a symbol of China's reform and opening up since 1978.
How to break through the bottleneck of the transformation or marketization of scientific and technological achievements?
Many universities and research centers in Zhongguancun have found their own new models to overcome this problem. In this regard, the Beijing Institute of Technology has implemented an institutional innovation --- discipline-based companies.
In 2016, the Beijing Institute of Technology set up a Technology Transfer Center. As an internal institute, the center is responsible for the management of the whole university's transformation of scientific and technological achievements.
