Hongshan hosts rural tourism festival

The 2022 Hongshan Rural Tourism Festival was launched at the Hongshan Ecological Vineyard in the Wuxi National Hi-tech District on July 31.

A series of activities including a grape market composed of more than 60 grape farmers, exciting performances and an interactive, grape-themed family activity were held during the event. In the grape competition in WND, Hongshan grapes won the grand prize, gold prize and silver prize.

Hongshan is the birthplace of Wu culture and an important area of Yue culture. The area has both national-level historical and cultural resources and is home to many tourist attractions. The thriving grape industry and the development of the Hongshan tourism and leisure industry complement each other and create a resort area featuring Wu culture, agriculture and natural scenery.
