New innovation center unveiled in WND

The Venturous Future Industry Innovation Center was unveiled in Wuxi New District on Aug 6. The center welcomed two new companies specializing in smart buildings and computer vision on the same day.

Venturous Group, the driving force behind the innovation center, focuses on smart city technologies, including carbon peak, carbon neutrality, smart buildings, intelligent computing, and urban management. Since starting its WND operations in 2021, Venturous has launched a $200 million fund and attracted several future industry projects.

The new innovation center in WND will leverage the group's international resources from Hong Kong, Singapore, and the Middle East to support the development of future industries in WND.

In 2023, WND saw all five strategic emerging industries—Internet of Things and digital economy, integrated circuits, biomedicine, smart equipment, and new energy—surpass the 100 billion yuan ($13.93 million) mark.
