WND companies win provincial recognition for growth potential

The Jiangsu Productivity Center recently unveiled its 2024 list of Unicorn and Gazelle companies, with Wuxi New District contributing 87 businesses, representing nearly 40 percent of Wuxi's total.

Unicorns and Gazelles, known for their high-growth potential, are considered future champions in their respective industries. This year's listed companies are driven primarily by "hard tech", with Unicorn and potential Unicorn firms investing more than 17.5 percent of their annual revenue into research and development.

The total valuation of WND's listed companies reached $11.93 billion, with an average valuation of $600 million. Firms involved in integrated circuits, biopharmaceuticals, and smart manufacturing accounted for 94.6 percent of the total valuation, highlighting their dominance in these key sectors.

These results underscore the region's leadership in fostering cutting-edge technology and innovation, positioning WND as a hub for future industry leaders.
