The 2024 MUSE Design Awards recently announced its winners in the landscape design category. WND's Bodu River renovation project (South Xingchang Road to Xixing Road) secured two gold awards in the Parks & Open Space Landscape and Landscape Renovation categories.
The riverside trail extending from South Xingchang Road to Gaolang Road alongside the Bodu River was completed by the end of 2023. This development has established a continuous, comfortable, and secure recreational space. The project includes diverse amenities suitable for individuals of all age groups, including playgrounds, basketball courts, ping-pong tables, smart fitness stations, communal plazas for group activities, and facilities for playing chess.
Stretching nearly 20 kilometers, the riverside green space covers an area of around 800,000 square meters, serving over 100,000 nearby residents and enhancing the community's well-being. In 2024, the upcoming phase of the project is set to concentrate on extending the riverside pathway from Tangnan Road to South Xingchang Road and from Gaolang Road to Xinhua Road.
The MUSE Design Awards, known as the "Oscars of Design", are renowned for their rigorous evaluation process and high standards, making them one of the most influential international accolades in the creative industry.
