On Oct 11, with a delegation, Cordell Dietz, president and CEO of Horton Holding, Inc, visited Wuxi New District, or Xinwu district.
Dietz emphasized Horton's commitment to the Chinese market, noting the steady growth of its Wuxi branch since its establishment in 2022. As a global leader in engine cooling systems, Horton values Wuxi's favorable business environment and efficient government services. Dietz expressed plans to introduce more high-value innovative products and expand the company's presence in China, aiming for sustainable development.
Hua Yanhong, deputy director of Xinwu district, highlighted the area's strong industries and innovative capabilities. In 2023, the district achieved a regional GDP of 251.6 billion yuan ($35.6 billion), continuously improving its business environment. The government pledged ongoing support for Horton's growth in Wuxi.
Founded in 1951 and headquartered in Minnesota, Horton serves over 70 countries, with its cooling systems widely used in highway trucks and construction machinery.
