WND and Suzhou sub-districts jointly launch cultural exchange initiatives

On Oct 12, a collaborative effort between Xin'an sub-district in Wuxi New District and Wangting town in Xiangcheng district, Suzhou resulted in the launch of a comprehensive array of cultural and sports initiatives at the Daxigang Wetland Park.

In his remarks, Jiao Kehan, deputy director of the management office of Wuxi Taihu International Tech Park, highlighted the proactive engagement of both Xin'an and Wangting in pioneering innovative cultural industry development. This event represents a significant stride in strengthening cross-regional interaction, with a central emphasis on creating a shared project that integrates cultural immersion, eco-tourism, science education, and artistic creation.

The two regions jointly introduced a series of activities categorized under five themes, including opera, reading, music, and sports, alongside promoting high-quality cultural venues and tourist routes.

The event showcased over 150 exhibits comprising photography, painting, and printmaking, dedicated to celebrating traditional culture and contemporary spirit. Visitors also enjoyed lively performances in the cultural night market at the event's sub-venue.
