The seventh China International Import Expo commenced on Nov 5, where Wuxi New District made its mark with nearly 100 exhibitors and over 500 visitors. Key exhibitors with investments in WND set up 25 booths at the CIIE and generated intended transactions worth $425 million.
AstraZeneca, a seven-time CIIE attendee, unveiled its innovative concept design for small-molecule drug factories, applying digital and intelligent technologies while highlighting autonomous intelligent manufacturing and sustainable development.
Qualcomm, another seasoned participant, captured much attention with its latest mobile platform, powered by the Snapdragon, its most powerful and fastest system-on-a-chip. In a major affirmation of WND's favorable business environment, the enterprise has established its only Chinese RFID (radio frequency identification) chip production base within the region and later signed a cooperation memorandum to expand the base's production scale.
GE HealthCare debuted its latest generation of ultrasound medical devices at the expo, highlighting its rapid scanning and remote service capabilities. The enterprise's WND base, established in 1996, has become its largest ultrasound center and the most comprehensive production base for clinical diagnostic products.
