Exciting collaboration! WND partners with Xiamen University to establish the Xiamen University Wuxi Research Institute. With an innovative dual-base model that combines R&D in Xiamen with industry in WND, this partnership will fuel innovation and tech transformation. A dedicated fund will also drive high-tech projects and entrepreneurship! 

Kwak Noh-jung, president & CEO of SK Hynix, a global leader in semiconductor manufacturing, visited WND on Jan 23. Since 2005, SK Hynix Semiconductor (China) in Wuxi has become the largest single foreign-invested project in Jiangsu and the group's biggest venture in China.

The 2025 Future Tech & Life Sciences Forum for the Peking University Doctor of Engineering Program was held in WND on Jan 21. Focused on cultivating top engineers, the event explores sustainable university-government partnerships to support China's growth strategies.

WND hosted a Spring Festival gathering for over 100 local foreign-funded enterprises on Jan 22, fostering collaboration and celebrating friendship! Agreements for 16 new projects worth 4 billion yuan ($549.45 million) were also signed. In 2024, foreign businesses contributed 60% of the industrial output of enterprises above the designated scale and 78% of foreign trade volume in WND.

WND hosted a financial cooperation seminar with more than 40 institutions, including banks, securities firms, and funds, on Jan 18. The event featured the signing of multiple agreements: SME financing, support for pre-IPO companies, and financial empowerment for tech firms.

The Heterogeneous Integration Technology Innovation Consortium led by WND-based CR Micro proudly stands as Wuxi's sole project on the 2024 Jiangsu Innovation Consortium list, released by the Jiangsu Department of Science and Technology.
