In terms of the industry layout, the economic zone has learned from the development law and experience of other airport economic development areas globally and is striving to create an industrial development model driven by talent and innovation.

The airport economic zone plans to take a “3+2” mode, developing healthy lifestyles, new generation information technology and intelligent equipment as its three pillars of science and technology innovation and focusing on the high-end service industry and aviation support as its two core service fields.

The zone has selected around 250 enterprises as its potential partners and signed strategic cooperation agreements with 34 of them.

The airport's high-end services will include smart logistics, international exhibitions, and technical consulting and training; while the aviation support services will cover aviation training, aviation maintenance, business jet support, and aviation finance.

The health industry will focus on precision medicine, stem cell technology and medical consumables; the next-generation information technology is to center on big data, cloud computing and the Internet of Things; and intelligent equipment will include integration of the aviation industry and robot systems.
