Standardization Promotion Conference of Zhongguancun held
The Standardization Promotion Conference of Zhongguancun took place in Beijing on Jan 8. The conference was hosted by the Zhongguancun Management Committee and the Market Supervision Administration of Beijing, and was organized by the China Aero Polytechnology Establishment, the China National Institute of Standardization and the Zhongguancun Standardization Association.
Relevant leaders and experts from the State Administration for Market Supervision, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, China Economic Times, the Zhongguancun Management Committee and the Beijing Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision as well as the Quality Supervision Bureau of each district, the management committees of each park, and representatives from standardization demonstration enterprises and alliances in Zhongguancun Science Park attended the event.
Yao Wei, deputy director of the Beijing Municipal Market Supervision Administration, pointed out that in 2019 standardization in Zhongguancun of innovation and standardization applications should be done in accordance with national and Beijing requirements as well as those of the State Administration for Market Supervision.
Attention should also be paid to building a brand of "Zhongguancun standard", and strengthening cooperation with relevant departments to jointly promote standards innovation.

Weng Qiwen, deputy director of the Zhongguancun Management Committee, summarized the standardization work of Zhongguancun in 2018 and work planned in that regard in 2019.
Weng said that, in 2018, the work on standardization in Zhongguancun was guided by policies to create a number of core technical standards and further expand the influence of international standards.
With the introduction of "Zhongguancun standard", the standardized service environment was continuously optimized, and its impact was greatly increased.
This year, Zhongguancun will implement the innovation-driven development strategy, innovate the work model, optimize the policy environment, and promote the development of core technical standards in advantageous fields.

Meanwhile, the committee will also step up efforts to cultivate the brand of "Zhongguancun Standard", vigorously promote the internationalization of standards, establish a model of standardization with a national influence, and promote construction of a globally influential science and technology innovation center.
Wang Jun, executive vice chairman of the Zhongguancun Standardization Association, announced the third batch of "Zhongguancun Standards" list, including eleven standards created by six units including the China Energy Storage Alliance and the Zhongguancun Audiovisual Industry Technology Innovation Alliance.
Guo Chenguang, director of the Standards and Innovation Department of the State Administration for Market Supervision, introduced the administration's Action Plan on the Belt and Road initiative (2018-2020), highlighting its key tasks and special actions.
Guo also stressed the development goals for the next three years, mentioning that using standardization to boost Belt and Road construction is a powerful measure to implement the important decisions of the Party Central Committee and the State Council.
Yao Jun, director of the Planning Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, gave a speech on "High-quality Development of the Manufacturing Industry".
Yao hoped that various innovation entities in the Zhongguancun Science Park can work together to transform national industries from "Made in China" to "Created in China", from "China speed" to "China quality", and from "manufacturing nation" to "manufacturing power".
Wang Zhonghong, director of China Economic Times, delivered a speech entitled “Global Technology Innovation Trends and Countermeasures”, analyzing some crucial moments in the change of the global innovation environment and how Zhongguancun utilizes innovation to extend the influence of technologies.
