Huairou Park
In October 2012, with the approval of the State Council, Huairou Park was established with an area of 7.11 square kilometers. The park is located on the banks of Yanxi Lake, and consists of 7 areas divided into the west part, middle part, south part and 1 to 4 areas of the north part.
Huairou Park focuses on the nanoscience industry, mainly in new materials; the science and technology service industry, mainly in professional technology research and development; and the digital information industry, mainly in cloud computing and the Internet of Things, and aims to build characteristic zones such as Beijing Nano-Technology Industrial Park. To further Huairou Science City construction, the park is speeding up a number of major scientific infrastructure and frontier cross-research platforms to develop comprehensive extreme conditions experimental equipment, Earth system numerical simulation equipment, high-energy synchrotron radiation sources, multi-modal and multi-scale biomedical imaging facilities, and an integrated monitoring network of space and environment.
At present, Huairou Park has gathered more than 160 high-tech enterprises such as Foton Daimler Automotive, Da Bei Nong, OriginWater, jjworld, Synfuels China, Beijing Institute of Nanoenergy and Nanosystems of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
Preliminary statistics show that in 2018, the total enterprise income was 65.04 billion yuan and the total profit was 2.26 billion yuan. Next, Huairou Park will focus on the development of nanomaterials and actively foster industries of pharmaceutical health, science and technology services.
