At a tea reception held on Sept 19 for the female members of the CPPCC, Honorary Chairwoman of the All-China Women's Federation He Xiangning proposed to pay tribute to the Chinese People's Liberation Army. The proposal won the unanimous support of the attending members and we as a group were given the task of submitting the proposal to the presidium. The specifics shall be decided by the presidium and submitted to the plenary session for approval.
