A campaign of joint actions by private enterprises and higher education institutions to promote the employment of college graduates was launched on April 28 in Beijing.
The campaign will organize about 10,000 private enterprises to hold special recruitment activities in more than 100 cities with a high density of universities.
Gao Yunlong, vice-chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) National Committee and chairman of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, said at the launch event that the campaign aims to build a larger platform and create more employment opportunities for college graduates.
He expressed his expectation that college graduates pursue their dreams, take a down-to-earth attitude, set lofty goals, care about the destiny of the country, develop strong skills, be rational in choosing jobs and working posts, pave a solid road for their life, and write a wonderful chapter of youth through their vigor and achievements.
Gao also urged private businesses to pay attention to their high-quality development and the urgent needs of college graduates, and to create broader space and more opportunities for them to pursue their dreams and realize the value of their life.
The campaign is jointly sponsored by the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, the Ministry of Education, and the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security.
