The Committee on Culture, Historical Data and Studies of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) organized a team of CPPCC National Committee members and artists to carry out cultural activities in grassroots communities in East China's Jiangxi province from Aug 3 to 7.

These activities, part of the CPPCC National Committee's "serving the people" initiative, marked the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and the 90th anniversary of the victory of the Long March of the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army. Through a range of public cultural activities, it promoted the great founding spirit of the Party and the spirit of the Long March.

By delivering high-quality cultural resources directly to local communities, the CPPCC National Committee sought to bring cultural services closer to the grassroots, strengthen ties between CPPCC members and the public, and help build consensus, pool wisdom and foster unity.

 During their stay in Jiangxi, the team members traveled to Jinggangshan, Yudu and Ruijin, where they staged three performances featuring songs from the Long March Suite, poetry recitations, acrobatics and traditional Chinese opera. More than 3,000 people attended the performances, while related content reached over 10 million viewers through various media platforms.

 The team members also delivered cultural lectures on topics including Shared Convictions: Lu Xun and the Chinese Communists, Preserving the Spirit of the Long March Through Calligraphy, and The Great Long March Began Here. Books and calligraphy works were donated to local communities, while some CPPCC members and artists visited grassroots cultural institutions to provide professional guidance and engage in exchanges.

 The team was headed by Ouyang Jian, vice-chairperson of the Committee on Culture, Historical Data and Studies. CPPCC National Committee members, artists and cultural professionals also participated in the event.
