Six Hangzhou Asian Games-themed planes took off from East China's Hangzhou International Airport in July.

Three of these planes were decorated with the slogan of the Games, while the other three featured the official mascot.

According to Wang Chunlun, a mechanical engineer from Zhejiang Loong Airlines Co Ltd, it took 15 people nearly a month to paint these six Airbus A320 planes.

Loong Airlines, the official airline services provider for the Games, has announced that these themed airplanes will be used to transport athletes, members of the media and competition personnel between Hangzhou and Wenzhou during the Games.

Wenzhou will be hosting several sporting events during the Games, including football matches and dragon boat races.

Officials added that more themed planes will be used for flights to Wuxi, Dalian, Guilin and Lijiang.
