Plaque unveiled for Shanghai International IP Hub Port

The Shanghai International IP Hub Port was launched at the 17th Shanghai International Intellectual Property Forum, which opened in Shanghai on Oct 20, according to local officials.
They said it came in the wake of the establishment last year of the International Operating (Shanghai) Pilot Platform of the State Intellectual Property Operating Public Service Platform – with the strong support and guidance of the China National Intellectual Property Administration.
Officials said this body has already achieved some major results and the Shanghai International IP Hub Port was launched in order to increase policy integration, strengthen resources aggregation and support the International Operating (Shanghai) Pilot Platform.
The IP hub port has IP protection, operations and transactions as its core functions – in accordance with the principles of internationalization, marketization and specialization.
Officials said the IP hub port aims to integrate international high-quality resources, to support scientific and technological innovation and high-quality economic development.
