Boao health forum to host second conference in Qingdao

The 2nd Conference of Global Health Forum of Boao Forum for Asia will be held from June 2 to 4 in the coastal city of Qingdao, Shandong province, according to the organizing committee.

The three-day event will be held via online and offline channels and involve thousands of participants from around the world.

The health forum and a supporting expo will feature activities related to project matchmaking and venture capital investment to help Qingdao attract more investment and push forward the implementation of projects.

The forum will consist of an opening ceremony, 30 subforums and 15 major activities, while the supporting expo will include an opening ceremony, four professional exhibition venues and nine major activities.

The 30 subforums will focus on three themes - "Universal Health Coverage", "Innovation for Health" and "Health in All Policies".

Infectious diseases, new technologies in health care, and the fight against COVID-19 will be the key topics at the health forum.

The organizing committee will also cooperate with international organizations, industry institutions, and enterprises to organize a series of promotion activities for the forum before June.
