Committee for National Games Village debuts in ITL Park

The committee of the National Games Village for China's 14th National Games was unveiled on March 29 in Xi'an International Trade and Logistics (ITL) Park.

Construction is now completed on the National Games Village, and the facility has entered the stage of equipment installation and function realization, laying a solid foundation for its official opening.

China's 14th National Games is scheduled to be held on Sept 15-27 in Northwest China's Shaanxi province.

Xi'an National Games Village is the largest and best-quality National Games Village in the history of the sporting event. It covers an area of about 680 mu (45.33 hectares) and has a construction area of about 910,000 square meters.

The installation of home appliances and furniture should be completed by April 15.

With a total of 78 buildings, the village can provide 3,820 suites to meet the occupancy needs of 13,000 people, including athletes, technical specialists, officials and media personnel.

Restaurants, parking lots, commercial service centers, cultural squares, medical service stations, fitness centers, intangible cultural heritage exhibitions and other service areas in the village will provide a comfortable, warm, safe and harmonious environment.

During the event, the village will be fully covered by 5G network signals.

Sun Yimin, director of the management committee of ITL Park and head of the village, said that ITL Park will formulate various work plans and highlight Xi'an's culture in accordance with the requirements of the General Administration of Sport of China.
