Fields of stunning purple flowers stand out in Jinyun county

Glorious verbena flowers planted in thousands of square meters of fields are currently blooming, filling the air with an intoxicating fragrance at the Qingchuan Flower Sea park in Huzhen town – located in Jinyun county, administered by city Lishui in East China's Zhejiang province.

Covering more than 66,000 square meters of land, the Qingchuan Flower Sea park was upgraded from a flower farm. It now has more than 10 varieties of flowers, including verbena, hairawn muhly, lotus and echinacea purpure.

The site is further improving its infrastructure and introducing investment projects, such as creating a children's park, in a bid to provide more leisure and entertainment choices for visitors.

The verbena flowers can reportedly last about six months until October.
