National Games preparations continue in Xi'an

China's 14th National Games is scheduled to be held from Sept 15 to 27 in Northwest China's Shaanxi province, with the main venues located in Xi'an, the provincial capital.

The countdown to the event entered the 120-day stretch on May 18. At this time, construction has been completed on the venues in Xi'an and the inspection phase is well underway.

The same day, representatives of front-line personnel from the city's 10 major industries collectively pledged to make every effort to ensure the complete success of the event.

The 10 major industries are involved in environmental protection, urban management and comprehensive law enforcement, transportation, water-related affairs, commercial trade, culture and tourism, hygiene and health, market inspection and management, among others.
