Countdown to China's 14th National Games begins
A 100-day countdown event for China's 14th National Games, the 11th Chinese National Games for Persons with Disabilities, and the 8th China National Special Olympic Games was held at the Xi'an Olympic Sports Center on June 7.

The Xi'an Olympic Sports Center is located in Xi'an, capital city of Northwest China's Shaanxi province. The city will serve as the main venue for China's 14th National Games, which are scheduled to be held from Sept 15-27.
The sports center and its surrounding area staged a light and water dance show featuring light, shadow, and musical fountain performances, attracting many spectators, as many people stopped to watch and take photos.
More than 300 people from the security, event service, city service, medical security, and volunteer service teams for the event shouted "we are ready" in unison at the sports center.

At the countdown event, the medals, torch, memorial cup, and costumes that will be worn by those involved in the award ceremonies were released.
In order to prepare for the event in Shaanxi, Xi'an, as the main venue city, has made every effort to improve its city image, expand its urban framework, and upgrade urban infrastructure.
Xi'an is also working to transform itself into a civilized city to welcome the China's 14th National Games.
