The 14th National Games will start on Sept 15, with organizers having opened the athletes’ village on Aug 27.

The village is located on 680 acres of land, with a construction area of 910,000 square meters. There are 55 houses, 2,975 rooms and over 12,000 beds. Three independent areas are set in the village, the athletes' village, technical officials' village and the press village.

As the largest village and most complete village in the history of China’s National Games, it provides residents with diversified services, including accommodation, catering, commerce, medical care, and transportation.
Up to now, there are 5,600 service personnel responsible for the village, 730 armed police, public security, and fire protection personnel, and 261 medical and first aid personnel.
