Synchronized swimming double event finals end

The synchronized swimming double event finals of China's 14th National Games ended on Aug 31 at the swimming and diving hall of the Xi'an Olympic Sports Center located in Xi'an International Trade and Logistics (ITL) Park in Xi'an, capital of Northwest China's Shaanxi province.

Huang Xuechen and Sun Wenyan, the silver medalist in the Tokyo Olympic Games, continued their good competitive form and won the championship.

They received the highest score in terms of completion, artistic impression, difficulty, and other criteria in the two-person technical optional and two-person free optional projects.

A total of 11 teams participated in the event. Wang Liuyi and Wang Qianyi from Guangdong province won the silver medal, while Dai Shiyi and Xiang Binxuan won the bronze medal.
