National Games rouse attention on social media

With China's 14th National Games approaching, many Olympic medalists arrived in Xi'an, capital of Northwest China's Shaanxi province, feeling the strong and warm atmosphere of the event and the city's fervor for sports.

On Sept 3, Quan Hongchan, who had just made a name for herself at the Tokyo Olympics, arrived at the National Games Village with the Guangdong diving team.

Quan's first training video was shared on social media on Sept 4, confirming her star status. On the Douyin platform, videos about Quan have been viewed 5.64 billion times.

After arriving in Xi'an, Olympic athletes such as Chen Yufei, Chen Long, and Zheng Siwei also praised the environment and services of the National Games Village.

Many short videos based on China's 14th National Games and National Games Village have sprung up.

On the Douyin platform, videos related to China's 14th National Games have been viewed 330 million times, and videos related to the National Games Village have been viewed more than 3.437 million times.

Online comments spoke highly of China's 14th National Games in Shaanxi and the largest and highest-level National Games Village in Xi'an.
