Space Planning of Beijing
The airport economic zone in Beijing is divided in to two parts: eastern area and western area.
The West Area covers 26 square kilometers. It covers international life health industry, international technology innovation, international school, international hospitals, living support facilities & much more.
The East Area covers 24 square kilometers. It covers central ecopark, international convention and exhibition center, international convention center, international shopping complex, national gateway business, comprehensive bonded zones & much more.
Layer-based Integrated Development
The airport economic zone integrates Pilot Free Trade Zone and Comprehensive Bonded Zone.
As urban development space, the airport economic zone offers industrial base support and supporting services.
As a pilot zone of national system innovation, Free Trade Zone focuses on policy innovation mechanism, financial service innovation, trade facilitation and business environment optimization, achieving more system innovation outcomes which have international competitiveness.
Comprehensive Bonded Zone is a special area that is supervised and controlled by customs, focusing on port function support, logistics service support, "processing + research" support and bonded service supply to better serve the construction of airport hub as well as promote the development of industries in the airport economic zone.
Pilot Free Trade Zone
The High-end Industrial Area of China (Beijing) Pilot FTZ covers 10.36 square kilometers focusing on industries including international finance, cultural innovation, biotechnology and health.
The Beijing area of China (Heibei) Pilot FTZ Daxing airport area covers 9.97 square kilometers, supporting industries including aviation logistics, aviation technology, aircraft maintenance, aviation training, international exhibition and commercial, financial leasing, etc.

The Comprehensive Bonded Zone of Beijing Daxing International Airport is 4.35 square kilometers, including bonded zone 3.51 square kilometers (both Beijing and Hebei, each has 1.76 square kilometers) and port function zone 0.83 square kilometers.
